Google launched another AI model only a week after it announced the release of its Gemini models. The new release, Gemma, is part of a family of “lightweight open-source models,” starting with Gemma 2B and Gemma 7B. Meta has announced that it is preparing to launch stricter safety tools to block children from receiving and sending nude images, the social media giant said in a blog post on Thursday. The tool, which will be available to all users but mainly aimed towards women and teenagers, will be an optional setting on both Facebook and Instagram and will also be active in encrypted messages.
