Martin Scorsese in Talks to Direct Frank Sinatra Biopic

Image
Martin Scorsese is taking on biopics of both Jesus and a music god: Frank Sinatra. The Oscar-winning auteur is rumored to be once more developing a biopic based on the legendary crooner — a project Scorsese’s been associated with before — with longtime collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio in talks to portray Ol’ Blue Eyes himself. Variety reported the news. DiCaprio recently starred in Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” and also led other Scorsese-helmed biopics like “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “The Aviator.” Variety noted that Frank Sinatra’s daughter Tina Sinatra controls her father’s estate and hasn’t yet approved a film adaptat...... Martin Scorsese Producer David O. Selznick's Ahead of PGA Award Honor

Image
Over the course of his long career, Martin Scorsese has amassed scores of producing credits on projects ranging from “Uncut Gems” to “Once Were Brothers” and “Vinyl” in addition to his own work on films such as Oscar and PGA nominee “Killers of the Flower Moon.” His love of cinema and preservation of it is well established, making him a more than worthy recipient of the PGA’s David O. Martin Scorsese Asks Francesca Scorsese for Filmmaking Advice in Ad

Image
Martin Scorsese and his daughter Francesca Scorsese are teaming up for something big…even if it is incredibly short. The auteur and his filmmaker daughter are paired together for a Super Bowl 2024 Squarespace ad, during which Francesca teaches Martin how to build a website to inspire a faux short film with a meta twist of events. “A 30-second film is much harder because each scene is like a second, maybe?” Martin says. “The main character happens to be a website. Now, the thing is, I don’t really know what a website is or what it thinks about, what it cares about, if it cares about anything at all.” He asks Francesca, “I need to ......
